Hello Trinity families,
I hope you all had a bright and blessed Christmas, and may I be one of the first to wish you a very Happy NEW Year!!! We are NEW creations every day and I am excited and hopeful for God’s promise that the “the old has gone, the NEW has come!” Lots to look forward to and celebrate and we have a NEW idea for the Trinity 2021 Virtual Auction Event that I am so excited to share with you!!!
Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 24th from 6pm-8pm for an epic TALENT SHOW that will take place during the Auction, showcasing our kiddos and their awesome talents. Every student in every grade will get to participate by submitting a video of their talent which will be reviewed by a judging panel including a celebrity judge! The top finalists within 5 specified categories will be invited to perform their talent LIVE from the Auction stage on the night of April 24th with all of their family and fans viewing and voting online! At the end of the Auction, the votes will be tallied and the winners of each category will be announced and amazing prizes issued! There will be more info and details to follow in the coming months about the Auction but here is what you need to know for participation in the Talent Show:
This is a fun and special opportunity to remind your child that God made them special and unique and that He gave each of us one-of-a-kind talents! Some ideas for the talent show to help get the creativity flowing are: singing, play an instrument, paint a picture, recite a speech, perform a magic trick, stand up comedy, dancing, cheerleading, poetry reading, beatbox, sing acapella, hula hooping, sign language, sing in a different language, do a ventriloquist act, puppet show, jump rope tricks, gymnastics routine, breakdance, historical skit with costumes, juggling, be a mime, whistling, yo-yo tricks, karate, ballet dance, yodeling, draw blindfolded, the options are endless!
An important change to make note of for this year’s auction is that each grade will NOT be responsible for providing an art project or a class basket to be auctioned off. However, we do still need ALL of the parent assistance that we can get! Our teachers and the Trinity staff are doing an AMAZING job navigating all of the challenging circumstances that this school year has held. Let’s take a load off of their plate and if you are able, please sign up to join one of the four committees in order to make this Auction a smashing success!!!
